Spaces That Speak Human
TRNSLATE Studio is an interior design practice built on the idea that spaces should feel as alive and layered as the people who inhabit them. With experience across residential, commercial, and boutique projects, I approach each design as a story—pulling together color, texture, and form to create environments that feel grounded, inspiring, and deeply personal. My process is collaborative and creative, striking a balance between style and function so your space doesn’t just look beautiful—it feels like you.
Meet the Designer
My name is Allison Stratton
I am a multi-disciplinary creative, and I was a full time professional commercial interior designer for over 15 years before deciding to take the leap and create TRNSLATE Studio. I have a 4-year degree in Interior Design and knew at age thirteen that this was the career for me.

I particularly love the blend of art, math and science it takes to design even one room in a house! My brain is never bored and loves working out the most difficult layouts or palettes.

My practice as an artist and illustrator has honed my color, texture and composition skills as an interior designer. I love creating depth of personality and soul in any space - residential or commercial.

I just moved back near the Minneapolis Arts District after spending 6 years in DFW TX. I'm so grateful to be in a city like Minneapolis, where art, food and culture are around every corner. My two rescue pups are actually named after streets in Minneapolis - Cedar and Hennepin!
